The announced performers will take the stage along with several of the inductees as the music industry and peers honor ABBA, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies, The Stooges, David Geffen, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, Ellie Greenwich & Jeff Barry, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air live on Fuse on Monday, March 15 at 8:30pm EST from The Waldorf-Astoria. The full star-studded line up of the ceremony is listed below:

The 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees were chosen by the 500 voters of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. Artists are eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after their first recording is released.

In addition to being honored at the ceremony on March 15^th, each artist who is inducted is commemorated at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland Ohio, which serves as a monument to rock and roll’s impact on our culture.  These inductees will be honored – along with previous year’s inductees and hundreds of other artists – with an exhibit and film that serve to tell the story of modern music.

Faith flew to New York City (Wednesday, February 10^th), the evening of a massive snowstorm that had just dumped more than a foot of snow on parts of the city and surrounding areas to film the Project Runway finale.  As part of her duties, she attended the finale fashion show on Friday, February 12^th, along with Project Runway host Heidi Klum and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, who all furiously scribbled notes on each garment as a hundred models walked down the runway.

After seeing ten ‘Runway’ designers’ collections, (ten designers had the opportunity to show at Bryant Park to throw off those in attendance from knowing who the identities of the three finalists), Hill, Klum, Garcia and Kors went to an undisclosed location in New York City, where the judges deliberations was filmed and a winner for season 7 was chosen.

Said Faith of the experience;  “What I saw was truly extraordinary and it made judging very difficult. All of the designers were creative and imaginative.  But there were some whose craftsmanship was impeccable. Designers by trade, are always capable of sewing their own clothing, but the tailoring that I saw was extremely impressive; a few in particular knocked me out.  The passion that these individuals showed, and their eagerness to learn from feedback and criticism, should prove an inspiration for those that follow them.“

Faith returned to Nashville following the taping to continue work on her forthcoming studio recording.

Faith is backed by a thirty-one person orchestra led by esteemed conductor David Campbell during her renditions of the title track “Joy to the World” and swinging, big-band versions of timeless Christmas standards "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "Holly, Jolly Christmas." Along with the orchestra, a nine-person choir accompanies Faith on the spiritual songs “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night,” and “A Baby Changes Everything.”

This concert special was taped over two nights on a stage specially-constructed within the Sears Centre Arena, and in front of an audience of 3,000 people and originally produced as a Soundstage special event, which aired earlier this year on PBS.

Following the success of the past 10 annual shows, the special continues to tell touching stories about foster care adoption to raise awareness for this important social issue.  The inspirational stories of these American families are enhanced by performances from some of today's most popular artists. 

The musical performances frame several pre-taped story segments which are presented by celebrities who either have their own adoption experiences or are involved with children's issues. 

The special is presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network. Wendy's International founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted, established the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in 1992.  It is dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 129,000 waiting children in the United States foster care system.  Wendy's is a program sponsor.

The Children's Action Network was founded in 1990 by leaders in the entertainment industry to harness the power of the entertainment media on behalf of children.  The special is a part of CAN's National Adoption Campaign to raise awareness of the joys of adopting and to find homes for the children who are waiting.
